I Walk Through The Valley Of The Shadow Of Death, I Will Fear No Evil

I remember a song from from decades ago. I an sure that the lyrics were written by an uninformed Christian. "You gotta walk the lonesome valley, you gotta walk it by yourself". I appreciate the caring and loving concern of the lyric writer, but I do not agree. In reality as Psalm 23 says, "I will fear no evil for you are with me..."

Yes, no matter dark, Christian you are not alone.

you don't have to be afraid of the rod and the staff. the rod is for the wolf who comes to harm the sheep, the staff is to guide us down the right path. unfortunately, sheep are very dumb sometimes we don't know what's good for us.

as i walk through the valley of the shadow of death, i take a look at my life and realize there's nothing left. cause i've been blasting and laughing so long, that even my momma thinks that my mind has gone. but i ain't never crossed a man that didn't deserve it. me be treated like a punk, you know that's unheard of. you better watch how you're talking and where you're walking, or you and your homies might be lined in chalk. i really hate to trip, but i've gotta loc. as i walk, i see myself in the pistol smoke, fool. i'm the kind of g all the homies wanna be like, taking a kneel in the night, saying prayers in the streetlight.

this verse was and is very helpful to me during hard times.

i,m yet but flesh and the lord has baptised me to be his follower in life, to take the path for which he has chosen, through the valley. i've seen through his eyes what he wanted me to do. yet, since that day he has open the path to my new valley towards death, was always chosen by him. yes i have been close to the path but always knowing that it is there and he is always there to open, to bring him into our life's, and the path to him will not be of one a negative but yes a positive experience!

jesus said, my sheep hear my voice, and i know them, and they follow me.
if you can't hear his voice, there is a reason.
