How I Can Influence My Friend

Proverbs 27:17

As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

I can relate to this proverb. Lately I've noticed what a bad influence I have been to my friend. I have caught myself saying bad words and causing. My words have also transferred to my friends mouth. I've told myself to control my bad words so that my friend will also not say bad words, as saying bad words doesn't please God.

If you have a friend that looks up to you, be careful with your words and actions. You may not realize how much influence you may have on your friends. If you truly care and love your friends, be extra kind and nice to them, as they will also be kind to you and others. Pray to Jesus that he will give you the strength and wisdom to follow his path.
