How Do I get People To Respect Me?

If you want to learn how to get respect from others, the bible tells us how on Proverbs 15:33

• The fear of the LOrd is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility.

I always take this proverb wherever I go. Through my years, I've learn that there are people who want respect without giving respect. I've learn that when you humble yourself to others, honor is given to you.

I believe there are two kinds of people in his world:

1. For some, you must earn respect from them, before they give you respect.


2. For others, they initially give you respect, if you betray them, then you loose their respect.

I consider myself a #2. Whenever I meet some one new, I automatically give them respect until they loose my trust but with most people you must earn their respect before they can trust you.
