Be Wise

EPHESIANS 5:15-17

A Christian may sin because he becomes careless.

To "walk circumspectly" (sin-come-spect-lee) is "To be careful how you act." There is a lot of sin in the world around you. A wise Christian is careful, for it is easy to get trapped in sin.

Two children were sent to take some cookies to an old lady who was sick. On the way they opened the basket and counted the cookies. "Let's share a cookie, I don't believe one would be missed," Said Jackie.

"Oh, yes it would," replied Tami. "Dont you know that God can count?" We must be careful to follow our firiends only when they follow God!

Dear Father, each day as I work and play, Help me to use ears and eyes - To know what is wrong and turn away. Then I'll be a Christian who's wise.

EPHESIANS 5:15-17 - 15. See then that you walk circumpectly, not as fools but as wise, 16. redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
